What is PMU?

PMU stands for permanent make-up. This can refer to any form of permanent make-up on the face, most often seen on the brows, lips and eyes.

Does it hurt?

We use a very highly anesthetic numbing cream before and during the procedure. Most of our clients will agree that the pain level is very minimal and tolerable. The pain levels vary from person to person and every effort is made to ensure you remain comfortable for the entirety of the procedure.

What is the process and how long is the procedure?

A consultation is done the day of the appointment. Once we have a clear understanding of what you want and have gone over the consent form, a topical anesthetic numbing cream is applied to the area that will be worked on. Once the cream is applied it'll take 20 minutes to take effect. Once numbed, we take our time to map and shape the brow and choose the color pigment that best fits your brow and hair color. The tattoo procedure itself takes about 1 hour. Appointment will take about 2 hours from start to finish. Take in mind that the appointment time can be prolonged if you're indecisive about the color or shape of the brows.

Why do I need a touch up in 6 to 8 weeks?

Your eyebrows will lighten up to 30% of the color during the healing process. Due to this you would need a perfecting session after the healing process to make the necessary adjustments within a 6 to 8 week time frame.

What can I expect in the healing time?

Everyone heals differently. The Immediate healing process takes about 7 to 10 days, however, the brow area takes 6 to 8 weeks for your new cosmetic tattoo to shed completely and the pigment to surface to its true color. You can return to your daily routine after 10 days of aftercare. Proper aftercare to ensure best results. An aftercare kit comes included with your initial session. You must follow aftercare to ensure the best results.
